Use of The Whole Proof's site or the contracting of The Whole Proof's services constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of all of The Whole Proof's Terms and Conditions contained in this document.
The Whole Proof reserves the right to refuse service to any customers for any reason and without explanation.
The Whole Proof does not endorse, recommend, or support the content of any documents provided by, or created for the customer. Customers are advised that plagiarism and breach of copyright are serious offences. The Whole Proof assumes no liability for the infringement of third party copyright in the content of customers’ documents. The Whole Proof is not liable for any damage to computer hardware/software arising from the distribution of a computer virus.
The Whole Proof assumes no responsibility for maintaining an unedited version of the submitted document. The customer is expected to retain a copy of the unedited document
In the event that a problem occurs during the application process, and the submitted document is not correctly uploaded, an administrator will contact the customer via email with a request for the document to be resubmitted. It is the customer’s responsibility to be contactable should this even occur. Should any delay occur due to this failure to upload the file, or in The Whole Proof’s attempt to contact the customer, The Whole Proof assumes no liability for any losses incurred.
The Whole Proof provides no guarantee that the customer’s work will be error free. Customers are responsible for ensuring factual data in their work is correct. Furthermore, The Whole Proof is not responsible for service delays resulting from unforeseen circumstances such as technical problems, including server issues that are beyond our control. In the event of unforeseen delays, the customer will be informed as soon as possible. The Whole Proof assumes no liability for losses caused by any delay in returning the document to the customer.
Should a customer be dissatisfied with The Whole Proof’s service, The Whole Proof may waive the customer’s payment. This is conditional on the customer demonstrating conclusively how The Whole Proof failed to meet its service obligations.
The customer must provide accurate information with respect to their name, email address, phone number and all payment details. Failure to provide accurate information can result in a refusal to provide service. The customer assumes all responsibility for any problems, errors, issues, as well as legal liability, resulting from such false information. All information submitted by the customer is confidential.
The Whole Proof is not liable for the fraudulent use of any credit card or other payment method that may be used to purchase its services.
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold The Whole Proof, its affiliates, and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable fees and costs for the service of a lawyer, or as may be made by any third party due to or arising from use of the site or service, or violation of the terms and conditions by the customer, or infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity by the customer.
In the event of a customer violating any of the terms and conditions contained in this document, The Whole Proof reserves the right to terminate all service and contractual obligations with the customer. Furthermore, The Whole Proof may, at its discretion, discontinue or terminate operation of its website or services without notice at any time and for any reason.
If you operate a website and wish to link to The Whole Proof, you must obtain prior written permission from The Whole Proof for such use, and you must agree to cease such link upon request from The Whole Proof. No other use of the content is permitted without prior written permission from The Whole Proof.
The Whole Proof is the business name of E.L. Rawson, a sole trader. Work is sometimes passed to other proofreaders and editors who work under The Whole Proof name, but are sole traders in their own right.
The terms and conditions contained herein may be changed or revoked at any time, for any reason and without notice. Such updates will be posted here.
